Oil Pastel/Ink on Artist Board 1973 16-1/2 7-3/8" Diameter (19cm)
A gem-like work from Susan’s early Medieval/Fantasy period. A falcon rests on the gauntlet of a richly costumed falconer. The artist has extensively used her signature sgraffito technique and ink resist to develop the fine detail throughout this beautiful piece. Rich in color and complexity.

This original work has been re-framed with a antiqued, gilt, custom wood frame. Archival triple-matted with a suede bottom mat, paper middle mat and a suede top mat. Acid-free materials throughout and re-glazed with Museum Conservation, Tru-Vue, UV protective glass. Signed by Susan Seddon Boulet bottom-right. Undated.
