Acrylic on Canvas circa late 1960's 21"H (53.5) x 17"W (43cm) 20"H (51cm) x 16"W (40.5cm)
From Michael Babcock: A unique acrylic on canvas, as there are no other known examples. I tend to believe that it may be from her time in Sao Paolo in the 1960’s when Susan was experimenting with different mediums and substrates.

From TPG: An introspective, warm and pensive piece; a window into the essence of Susan and her art throughout her career. This painting is the earliest example of the sgraffito technique that played an integral part in creating the detail in most of the work the artist created through the 70’s and 80’s. The moon that appears at least once in every piece Susan ever created, is highlighted here. In this post-impressionism influenced painting the lavender glow of the moon, moves through the cool night sky, illuminating the “Woman with Orange”.

This original work remains in its’ original, wood, “floater” frame. Unglazed. Signed in sgraffito Susan Seddon Boulet lower-right. Undated.
