Medium Date Framed Size Image Size
Oil Pastel/Ink 1977 19-1/2"H x 23-1/2"W 10-1/2"H x 13-1/4"W
A moving example of Susans early work. The dreamlike image of a woman floating serenely on a rolling sea of deep purple swells, is contrasted against a sunset over a rich orange and amber mountainscape. A seed or egg is held within the bloom of a red flower on her headpiece. Overhead are two representations of the moon - one full, one void. Clearly Susan intended a provocative story be revealed through the feminine imagery of this subtle piece.

This original work has been re-framed with an antiqued gilt frame, archival double-wrapped linen mats, acid-free backer board & materials and re-glazed with conservation clear UV protective glass. Signed by Susan Seddon Boulet bottom center. Dated 1977.
